It's that time again for our Annual Collage at the Carousel Workshop in the beautiful historical Carousel Building in Asbury Park! Spend the morning making your own collage masterpiece with artist Holly Suzanne Rader. Let's make this year our biggest yet and raise money for The Wooden Walls Project!

Here's what to expect:

No art experience necessary. Holly and her team will guide you through the process. All materials included. Each ticketed participant will receive a 16x20" blank canvas and all access to the best of the best materials to make art magic. Holly will give a 15 minute demo to get you started. You'll use her pretty papers, glitter, rhinestones and a photo of your choice to craft yourself a frame-worthy portrait collage. Choose an iconic photo from Holly's stash (regular ticket) or submit your own photo (upgraded ticket. See submission guidelines below).

Elevate your experience with an upgrade to a special request image. Email your best, clearest photo to [email protected] SUBJECT: "CAROUSEL IMAGE" NO LATER THAN JULY 14th! It can be a picture of yourself, a friend, your kids, your pet or your favorite icon! Just make sure you send it at least 1MB! Smartphone camera pics are best! Pictures will be edited and printed in black and white with background extracted and cropped to best fit the canvas format. PLEASE ONLY SUBMIT ONE PHOTO! We will do our best to accommodate special requests.

Paid parking in lot and streets. Come early to get a good spot.
There are no bathrooms in the Carousel. Public bathrooms located on boardwalk.
No alcohol please.
Bottled water will be available

About The Wooden Walls Public Art Project:

The Wooden Walls Mural Project is a collaborative initiative that brings art to Asbury Park to enrich the socio-cultural and socio-economic landscape in a thoughtful way. By creating a conversation with local, national, and international artists, Sea Change draws attention to the creative spirit that is fundamental to Asbury Park. Wooden Walls uses the resources provided by a community that embraces creative endeavors and is appreciative of public art in order to promote the town’s reputation to this end.
